This week...

This week I read two books. I read Cyber Cinderella, by Christina Hopkinson and Two Little Girls in Blue, by Mary Higgins Clark.Cyber Cinderella is the story of Izobel Brannigan who, bored one day, "Googled" herself and was suprised by what she found...a website...a tribute if you will...about herself. The remaining story unfolds with the usual romantic interest, misunderstandings, and reliable girlfriends. This was a quick read, definitely chick-lit, however it was very entertaining and quite worth reading. It may make you think twice about 'googling' yourself (and I know you do it...don't try to deny it!).

This was my first Mary Higgins Clark novel (I know I am a bit behind the times). It was a suspenseful tale of twins kidnapped on their third birthday and an interesting look at the bond that exists between twins. I love suspense novels and read quite a few...this one wasn't as good as others I have read, but I would recommend it.

Happy Reading...

I definitely want to read "Cyber Cinderella" but I think I'll pass on the other one.

Thank you, Jerrie! I thought "Two Little Girls in Blue" was completely LAME at the end. It's the first Mary Higgins Clark I've read in a long time because it seemed that her books became too "formulaic," if you will. After a long hiatus, I gave her another try...and was sorely disappointed. I thought it was just me though!

That other book looks intriguing! I'll have to add it to my ever-growing Wish List on PaperbackSwap.com (shameless plug)!

Oh you 2 are killing me! I can't keep up! I am still working on Why Mom's Are Wierd. Cyber Cinderella does look like a good book too.

My mom loves Mary Higgins Clark and has read a good majority of her books. I haven't really had the desire to try any of her books yet.
