The Novelist

I finished reading "The Novelist" today. I will say this, I thought it was ok but I definitely didn't like it as much as the people who reviewed it on Amazon. They LOVED it! Out of 17 reviews, 16 people gave it 5 stars & 1 person gave it 1 star. I'd probably give it 3 1/2. The author, Angela Hunt, tells 2 stories in the book. The first is a true story of the drama they are going through with her son & the second is a story she is writing. The story part is what I had a problem with. I found it hard to embrace this fictional place where things were just a bit too much for me. I don't know, clearly other people liked it though, so don't go off of what I said alone.
