I finished reading "Between, Georgia" after finally getting really into it. It took me some time to connect but once I did there was no stopping me. It's an interesting story set in an even more interesting small town, Between. Nonny's mom is a Crabtree but she was adopted by a Frett woman (who also happens to be deaf & blind). The feud between these families was well established before Nonny's birth but gets MUCH more intense after her birth. It's a fun book that makes you happy you don't live in a town where everyone knows everyone & everything about you (I know you think you live in that town, but I hope you don't). A good read for sure!
