Finally ... I read a book that I ended up VERY happy with ... it's about time! :) I finished reading "Summer of Light" last night & I am SO pleased with it!!! The story is about a man who loses his job & ends up staying home as a "stay-at-home-dad" to take care of his kids & the household chores. In the time he is home, he gets to know his kids much better than he ever could have imagined & he finds he has a gift ... a special gift for taking pictures! I definitely loved how he realized it (with a little pushing & shoving from friends/family) about his gift & finally embraced it. The beginning of the book was a bit odd but other than that ... FANTASTIC book!!! :)
